Lake Ontario is now 'Lake America' on Apple Maps

Apple Maps is replacing “Lake Ontario” with “Lake America” for U.S. users after a Trump executive order that already forced Google Maps to make the same change; the new label appears on desktop while the mobile app currently shows both names. The lake will retain “Lake Ontario” in Canada and display both names elsewhere, and other navigation services such as MapQuest have refused to adopt the rename.
