Liux’s Big microcar bets on sustainability to take on Chinese rivals
Liux’s upcoming microcar, the Liux Big, will launch in early 2027 after securing Europe-wide homologation, and the company plans to scale production to 20 000 units annually by 2030 across three Spanish facilities. The vehicle features a linen-based biocomposite body, easily replaceable batteries and a design focused on durability and recyclability, aiming to differentiate itself in a market now dominated by Chinese EV microcars.
