London-based Inherent, founded by DeepMind alumni and with $50M in seed funding, says its new Faraday agent beats GPT-5.5 at reproducing research paper findings (Anna Heim/TechCrunch)
London-based AI lab Inherent, founded by former DeepMind researchers and backed by $50 million in seed funding, announced that its Faraday agent outperformed Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s larger models—including a GPT-5.5-class system—when tasked with reproducing findings from research papers. The company says Faraday achieved this superior performance while using only a fraction of the computational size of those competing models.
