Luanti removed from Google Play due to baseless AI copyright notice

Luanti’s Android app was temporarily removed from Google Play after Tracer.AI filed a DMCA notice on behalf of Microsoft, claiming the voxel platform infringed Minecraft’s copyright, despite containing no proprietary code or assets. The developers note the app is open source, ships without games or copyrighted textures, and previously successfully appealed a similar 2023 claim. The app has now been reinstated on the Play Store.
