Lucid recalls 27,185 Air sedans over a software fuse that did not cut the power

Lucid is recalling 27,185 Air sedans after a software-controlled eFuse for the front combination lamp and centre high-mounted stop lamp can allow excess current, causing overheating, three fires and four smoke incidents. Owners must park away from structures until an over-the-air update is applied; 20,719 vehicles had already received the fix before the recall was filed.
