Mark Zuckerberg purchased Strancally Castle in County Waterford, a 16,000-square-foot historic home built around 1830, though the price was undisclosed. The acquisition coincided with the opening of Meta’s federal trial in Oakland, where states allege the company deliberately made Facebook and Instagram addictive for minors and violated the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
