Markiplier is now GoPro’s biggest shareholder

Mark Fischbach, known as Markiplier, has acquired an 8.5% stake in GoPro, making him the company’s largest individual shareholder. He said the stock appears undervalued and tied the purchase to his goal of expanding accessible filmmaking after releasing his feature film “Iron Lung.” Fischbach also promoted GoPro’s new Mission 1 ILS camera, noting it will replace more expensive options like the Red Komodo-X in his upcoming projects.
