Meet the 2026 Ig Nobel Prize winners

The 2026 Ig Nobel Prizes honored research on a splash-free urinal design, mosquito-proboscis “necroprinting” of tiny nozzles, composition rates of buried cotton underwear, and the aerodynamics of a healthy nose-blow. The ceremony features miniature operas, 24-second and seven-word explanations, and 60-second acceptance speeches. Winners will give free public talks posted on the Improbable Research website.
