Security researchers in an OpenAI bug-bounty program accessed the company’s internal monorepo on GitHub, exposing vulnerabilities in the OpenAI codebase. Anthropic reported that Claude now accounts for 26% of its AI research and development, up from 1% in March, and that the company collaborates on over 90% of its projects under close human oversight. OpenAI also launched Astra for Law, a GPT-6-based model paired with a legal search index for select law firms.
