Meta makes AI glasses slightly less creepy with limit on nonconsensual recording

Meta will release a software update that disables its AI glasses’ camera whenever the recording-indicator LED is covered, preventing users from hiding ongoing video capture. The change closes a loophole that let users start recording, then obscure the light, which had led to widespread non-consensual recordings.
