Meta now lets AI agents handle the boring parts of WhatsApp Business setup

Meta has added a WhatsApp Business Tools MCP server that lets AI agents such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or ChatGPT automate the setup of WhatsApp Business messaging. The agent can create the business account, verify the phone number, register for the Cloud API, check Terms of Service, and manage templates, tests, and webhooks. Meta’s existing MCP servers also provide API discovery, documentation search, and error troubleshooting during configuration.
