Meta ran ads for an app promising to nudify female politicians

Meta platforms displayed ads for Kromix, an AI porn-generation app that lets users upload photos to create deepfaked videos of real people, including a woman resembling a prominent U.S. politician. The ads claim the tool has “no restrictions” and depict the politician in a pornographic scene, violating Meta’s policy against sexual content. Kromix, previously available on Apple’s App Store, offers paid users scenarios such as “bedroom rape” and “Disney love,” and has not responded to requests for comment.
