Meta says Muse looks like OpenClaw because it was built that way

Meta Superintelligence Labs head Nat Friedman confirmed that the Muse personal agent was heavily inspired by Peter Steinberger’s open-source project, OpenClaw. The team intentionally replicated OpenClaw’s file structures and SOUL.md configuration files because they considered Steinberger’s original design choices to be optimal for scaling the agent to billions of users.
