Meta will stop training its AI on 'visual data' from its smart glasses — if you opt out

Meta now allows users to opt out of having visual data from smart glasses used for AI training or third-party review. While this change prevents camera-based interactions from improving models, audio interactions remain subject to company training and review. Meta also introduced new Ray-Ban-branded glasses that exclude cameras entirely to address ongoing privacy concerns.
