Meta’s new holographic avatars, powered by the Muse Realtime Avatar model, enable realistic digital likenesses for WhatsApp and Zoom calls. Users create these avatars via the Meta AI app by scanning their faces and recording voice samples. The technology also supports full-body avatars on VR glasses using advanced inward-facing sensors to capture facial expressions.
