Michael Polansky is training an AI model on skin that’s still alive

Michael Polansky, co-founder of Outer Biosciences and partner of Lady Gaga, is training an AI model on human skin that the company has kept alive for more than a month outside the body. The startup, which emerged from his work with Sean Parker and the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, also collaborates with Gaga’s Haus Labs cosmetics brand.
