Microsoft’s new Copilot app unifies chat, document editing, coding, and an always-on Autopilot agent in a single interface. The Home section integrates Chat, Cowork, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while Code lets users build apps and automations from plain-language descriptions using GitHub Copilot technology. Autopilot, an autonomous cloud agent with its own identity and memory, runs continuously and can be invoked in Teams or Outlook.
