mold: A Parallel Linker
Mold is a Unix/Linux linker that restructures the entire linking pipeline to exploit data parallelism, eliminating entangled symbol resolution and archive processing bottlenecks. On large C++ programs it links multi-gigabyte debug binaries in under a second, delivering 2.4–16.1× speedups over lld and up to 112× over GNU ld, with cumulative gains from parallelizing all passes.
