More plugs beat more power, a Finnish charger maker says

Kempower’s white paper, based on its analytics and North American sites, shows that adding connectors drives utilisation far more than increasing installed power, with eight-plug stations reaching nearly 10% utilisation versus about 2% for two-plug sites. Eight-plug sites delivered an average 128,342 kWh, compared with 61,453 kWh at four-plug sites, while power upgrades from 100 kW to 400 kW only raised utilisation from roughly 3% to just over 5%.
