Most Americans under 30 are now more worried than excited about AI

A Pew survey finds 55% of Americans under 30 now view AI with more concern than excitement, the first majority since 2021, and 73% expect fewer jobs in the next two decades, up from 61% two years earlier. A European Commission poll reports the same age group, especially lower-income and less-educated workers, fears AI-driven job displacement, while only about half use AI at work and students save roughly nine hours monthly using chatbots.
