Neki

Neki, now in platform preview, offers sharded PostgreSQL that distributes a database across multiple machines, with each shard running a full PostgreSQL cluster containing a primary and at least two replicas in three availability zones. Clients connect through a Neki router using the standard PostgreSQL wire protocol, retaining existing drivers, ORMs, and connection strings. The service supports online schema changes, resharding, and includes PlanetScale features such as Insights and branching.
