Never use ChatGPT for these five tasks

ChatGPT can generate fabricated legal citations, quotes, and arguments that courts have fined litigants and lawyers for, with over 2,000 documented cases worldwide, including the U.S., U.K., South Africa, Israel, Australia, and Spain. The chatbot’s conversations lack legal privilege, making them discoverable in disputes, and it has also been implicated in mental-health risks, with OpenAI reporting 0.15% of users discussing suicide and a wrongful-death lawsuit alleging the bot reinforced suicidal ideation.
