Never use harsh cleaning products to clean your smartphone — do this instead

Smartphones harbor up to ten times more bacteria than a toilet seat. Harsh cleaners such as bleach, Windex, compressed air, and hydrogen peroxide damage the oleophobic fingerprint-repellent coating. Use a lint-free microfiber cloth dampened with soapy water or a 70% isopropyl-alcohol wipe, avoiding direct liquid, plugged-in use, and abrasives. Silicone and plastic cases can be cleaned similarly; leather cases require only a lightly soaped damp cloth.
