New Jersey teen drops claims against Meta, Google, and Snap weeks before trial

A 15-year-old New Jersey teen dismissed her lawsuit against Meta, Google and Snap seven weeks before a scheduled Los Angeles trial, citing a desire to move on; no payment was made to her. The case was one of three bellwether trials testing claims that the companies designed addictive features for minors, after TikTok settled its portion and a similar Panama-City plaintiff withdrew earlier.
