Nintendo's Switch 2 will now sync its refresh rate to your TV for smoother motion

Nintendo confirmed that the Switch 2’s dock will now support variable refresh rate (VRR) when both the console and TV are compatible, requiring a firmware update to the dock. VRR aligns the TV’s refresh rate with the game’s frame rate, eliminating judder and tearing. The update also adds a handheld-performance toggle, Mii editor enhancements, and full system-transfer capability.
