NTSB Issues Investigative Update on B-767 Runway Excursion Accident in Miami
The NTSB recovered the cockpit voice recorder (Acron Aviation FA2100) and flight data recorder (Ontic SSFDR) from the September 6 Boeing 767-33A cargo crash at Miami International Airport. Technicians extracted more than two hours of audio and about 54 hours of data covering over 400 parameters. The board will convene a CVR analysis group at its Washington, D.C., headquarters to produce a transcript of the final minutes, noting that CVR and FDR timestamps have not yet been precisely synchronized.
