Nvidia is in talks to back Perplexity at more than $30bn

Nvidia is negotiating an investment that would value Perplexity at over $30 billion, a 50% increase from its last reported $20 billion valuation, and may include a technology licensing deal. Perplexity, founded in 2022 and led by Aravind Srinivas, has built a conversational search product and previously made a $34.5 billion unsolicited offer for Google’s Chrome browser.
