Nvidia launches free tool that links idle computers into a personal AI data center

Nvidia’s open-source Personal AI Router (PAIR) software connects multiple local computers to create a unified system for AI inference tasks. The tool supports Nvidia GeForce RTX 20-series GPUs and newer, alongside Apple M4 chips, to facilitate agentic workflows across a home network. PAIR integrates directly with existing platforms like Ollama and LM Studio.
