Nvidia pays Poolside $6bn to license its model factory and hire 109 staff

Nvidia will pay Poolside $6 billion for a non-exclusive license to its Model Factory software and will hire 109 of its employees, while investing an additional $1 billion for a 12 billion-pre-money valuation stake. The three founders remain, and Poolside will distribute the $6 billion to investors by next year; the deal follows similar Nvidia structures with Groq and Enfabrica that secure technology and talent without full acquisitions.
