Nvidia reported that its commitments to component suppliers for AI chips and systems reached $279 billion in the second quarter, up from $119 billion in Q1, $95.2 billion in Q4 2025, and $50.3 billion in Q3 2025. The company also announced a $12.9 billion acquisition of Hugging Face, the open-source AI model repository.
