Nvidia’s H200 finally reaches Chinese buyers, though maybe not mainland China

Nvidia’s H200 accelerators have begun shipping to Chinese technology firms, with ByteDance and Tencent each receiving roughly 10,000 units. The deliveries follow eight months of export licences that yielded minimal shipments, and additional Chinese companies are expected to obtain comparable quantities soon.
