One woman's Tesla was remotely controlled by an abusive ex-partner

Stacey Pucci endured a year of remote harassment after her ex-partner, Enrico Pucci, added a “parental control” profile to her Tesla via the app, allowing him to limit speed, lock doors, set curfew hours and toggle extreme temperature settings between 6-12 November 2025. The court convicted Pucci on 30 domestic-violence charges, including the vehicle-app abuse, sentencing him to two years and three months with a 15-month non-parole period.
