Online hate researcher keeps hammering X despite deportation threat

A U.S. judge blocked an immigration policy that would have allowed the deportation of noncitizen technology researchers who flag illegal or harmful online content, citing lack of evidence linking them to foreign powers. The policy, promoted by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, was deemed too broad and could have encompassed any noncitizen content moderator. The decision was made in favor of the Coalition for Independent Technology Research, which challenged the policy.
