The only GameCube that could play CDs and DVDs is rarely found below $1,000 today

The Japan-only Panasonic SL-GC10, known as the Panasonic Q, launched in December 2001 as a GameCube-DVD hybrid that could read GameCube discs, DVDs and CDs, featuring a motorized tray, Cinema mode, Dolby Digital/DTS audio, and a separate gray controller and remote. Priced at ¥39,800 (≈$313), it was region-locked to Japan, required manual mode switching that rebooted the system, and failed to attract buyers, remaining a rare collector’s item today.
