OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Microsoft want cyber defence treated as a leadership priority

Over 100 organisations, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Microsoft, have signed an open letter urging businesses and governments to prioritize cyber defence and address software vulnerabilities. The EU’s Cyber Resilience Act will make many of these measures mandatory from 11 September, reinforcing the call for immediate leadership action.
