OpenAI pledged $1 billion in subsidized model access, training, support and partnerships to safeguard critical global services, and simultaneously released GPT-6 “Astra,” which it billed as a generational leap into the AGI era. Astra, trained on more than 100,000 GPUs at OpenAI’s Texas “Stargate” facility, achieved 62.7% on ARC-AGI-3 with the standard harness and 99.9% with a provider-adapter harness, and is priced at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens.
