OpenAI released GPT-6.1 Sol for $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, matching GPT-6 Sol and Claude Sonnet 5.5. The model passes safety tests and performs agentic coding and professional work comparable to GPT-6 Astra, but costs one-fifth of Astra’s price. OpenAI also launched Dots, always-on agents powered by GPT-6 Astra that run on their own cloud computer and are available in ChatGPT for Pro, Business Premium, and Enterprise users.
