OpenAI stuck fighting Musk antitrust suit after Apple finds a way out

Elon Musk has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Apple, alleging that the company’s integration of ChatGPT into iPhone features creates a monopoly over Apple users’ AI prompts and blocks other AI apps from reaching the top App Store ranking. Musk claims Apple’s actions prevent any AI company other than OpenAI from achieving #1 status, constituting an antitrust violation. The suit follows Musk’s earlier accusations that Apple’s partnership with OpenAI enables “creepy spyware” on users’ devices.
