OpenAI’s agents can now run entirely inside Amazon’s cloud

OpenAI and Amazon launched Bedrock Managed Agents, allowing OpenAI agents to run entirely inside AWS with data never leaving the cloud. The managed runtime handles inference, memory, and skills on Amazon Bedrock, while each agent logs actions for auditing and uses AgentCore as the default compute environment. Salesforce is a customer, and the Agents API now supports computer use, multi-agent tools, and browser interactions with user-approved sites.
