Oura files to go public
Oura filed a confidential IPO, reporting revenue growth from $697 million to $1.2 billion in the nine months ending June and projecting close to $2 billion this year. The company has sold 3.6 million rings, holds about 5 million paid members with an 85% 12-month retention rate, and claims a 42-billion-hour biometric dataset powering AI models. A proposed class-action lawsuit alleges its sleep-tracking claims are inaccurate, which Oura says it will contest.
