Over one million people have clicked LinkedIn’s AI slop button

LinkedIn launched a “Seems like AI slop” button on July 30, allowing users to flag posts they suspect are AI-generated. Chief product officer Hari Srinivasan reported that more than one million people have used the button, which appears in the three-dots menu on each post. The feature follows a Pangram study that found 41% of LinkedIn’s long-form posts were flagged as fully AI-generated.
