Palantir gets £21m from Britain’s grid operator, no competition

Britain’s National Energy System Operator awarded Palantir a £21.2 million direct-award contract to license and support the Foundry platform’s Connections and Skip Rates modules through 31 July 2027, with six-month extensions to 31 July 2028. The deal also mandates a separate competitive procurement for a Strategic Enterprise Modelling Capability covering 2027-2032, echoing prior Palantir contracts with the NHS that were initially secured with limited competition before later open tenders.
