Panic builds over bankrupt Spirit’s looming data sale to Google

Doug Kreuzkamp’s startup Springshot, which has powered Spirit Airlines’ technology stack for three years, built a proprietary platform used by hundreds of airports to improve airline efficiency. In Spirit’s bankruptcy auction, Google won the right to purchase a massive operational dataset that Kreuzkamp says likely contains substantial Springshot data and intellectual property, yet his company received no prior notice.
