Paramount settles lawsuit blocking $110 billion Warner Bros. merger

Paramount settled lawsuits from California and 11 other states that had sought to block its $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. The consent decree permits the merger while imposing conditions on film releases, cable channel negotiations, use of film lots, and the availability of Pluto TV. The settlement removes a major regulatory obstacle to the merger.
