Paramount will need to release way more movies to make this merger work
Paramount settled a lawsuit with 12 states regarding its $110 billion merger with Warner Bros. Discovery. As part of the agreement, the company committed to spending at least $300 million on domestic film and television projects. Furthermore, Paramount must release a minimum of 30 movies annually following the acquisition to maintain industry competition.
