Patreon says its discovery problem for small creators is its own fault

Patreon announced 30 new or updated features and said its discovery feed has prioritized large creators, limiting exposure for smaller ones. It will redesign the recommendation algorithm to match posts by topic, style, and theme instead of creator size. The feed now brings 1.5 million new free and paid members each month, with membership growth of 25-30% for creators using the feed versus those who do not.
