The Pentagon now has its own version of ChatGPT and Grok

The Pentagon’s GenAI.mil portal now offers custom versions of OpenAI’s ChatGPT (ChatGPT Mil) and xAI’s Grok for Government, granting roughly 1.7 million of its 3 million civilian and military users secure, data-collection-exempt generative AI for tasks such as logistics, planning, policy and market research. These tools are positioned to boost warfighter productivity, knowledge continuity and mission precision while keeping sensitive data out of consumer channels, complementing existing partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, Nvidia and others.
