pgBot is a 5.9 MB read-only tool that connects to any PostgreSQL instance—directly or via an on-premise agent—to surface health metrics, query performance, lock contention, index usage, vacuum activity, and growth trends, delivering AI-generated explanations and prioritized recommendations in plain English. It exposes deterministic JSON-based inspection tools through the Model Context Protocol, enabling external AI agents to query findings without writing to the database.
