Phil Schiller reportedly steps down as Apple's App Store and product event chief

Phil Schiller has stepped down from overseeing the App Store and product events, remaining an Apple Fellow to work on unspecified initiatives. Eddy Cue will retake App Store leadership, with Carson Oliver handling day-to-day operations and Nola Weinstein taking charge of Apple’s events team for the September 9 launch, which is expected to feature the iPhone 18 Pro, new Apple Watch models and a first foldable iPhone.
