PitPro’s first tire-changing robot goes live in Canada

PitPro Automation installed its first automatic tire-changing robot at a Kal Tire shop in Calgary, Alberta, where the system can replace a full set of four tires in under 15 minutes. The two oven-sized robots use sensors and a robotic arm to locate, loosen, and replace lug nuts, fitting into existing maintenance bays. The deployment addresses labor shortages and the annual winter-tire demand in Canada, with PitPro targeting tire chains for broader rollout.
